Born in Havana, Cuba, Vladimir began studying piano at age seven and trained with renowned pianists and professors including Teresita Junco, Aldo López-Gavilán, Huberal Herrera, and Amado Touza. In 2003, he won First Prize at the Ernesto Lecuona Piano Competition and graduated with honors in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from the Guillermo Tomás Conservatory in Havana. His career includes teaching, performing, and working as a collaborative pianist with orchestras, ensembles, and artists throughout Cuba and internationally. Vladimir has performed in Cuba, Colombia, Paraguay, and South Florida, with highlights including the world premiere of the opera Benkos in Cartagena, a tribute to Alicia Alonso, and collaborations with the prestigious Lizt Alfonso Dance Company. Now based in Central Florida, Vladimir brings extensive experience in classical and popular music and teaches in both English and Spanish.
