Samuel first picked up the guitar at age 8 and immediately fell in love with being a musician. Over time, he also learned piano, bass guitar, ukulele, and drum set/percussion, with percussion becoming his main focus throughout middle and high school. Samuel graduated from Florida State University in December 2025 with a B.A. in Music. While at Florida State (Go Noles!), he studied Music Theory and Composition extensively and performed in several ensembles, including Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, Rock Ensemble, and the FSU Marching Chiefs. During that time, he was also a member of two rock/indie bands that performed around the Tallahassee area: The Village Idiots (drum set) and The Casualties (piano/guitar). Samuel currently serves as the Assistant Percussion Instructor at Lake Brantley High School. He enjoys creating a teaching environment where students feel comfortable asking any questions and where having fun while playing well is always the priority
