Rock Lab is where music, friendship, and creativity come together. This is your chance to join a band of fellow music lovers—people who aren’t here to chase fame, but to play, laugh, and create something special. Guided by an experienced coach, you’ll jam together, write songs, perform live, and even record your music, all while building a repertoire that’s uniquely yours. Whether you’ve been playing for years or just dusted off your guitar from the closet, it’s never too late to start a band. You don’t need to be advanced—just have a basic handle on your instrument and be able to play chords. Luichy

Born in Santo Domingo, Luichy Guzmán began playing guitar at age 12 and holds a degree in Contemporary Music from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña. A professional musician since the 1990s, he’s studied with mentors like Manuel Tejada and Corey Allen. His career spans rock bands, vocal ensembles, symphony orchestras, and musical theater, including collaborations with Grammy winner Juan Luis Guerra and singer-songwriter Pavel Núñez, as well as composing soundtracks for films like Ladrones, Veneno, and La Vida de los Reyes. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Luichy specializes in pop and rock, tailoring lessons to each student’s interests in a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians.
